The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) community gathered for its first-ever General Assembly on March 14, 2025, at the Main Campus Gymnasium in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur. Led by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, the historic event brought together regular employees, Contract of Service (COS), Job Orders (JOs), and Visiting Lecturers (VLs) from CMSE, Pagadian, Dumingag, and the Main Campus. In celebration of the International Day of Forests, the JHCSC-National Service Training Program (NSTP) from Pagadian Extension Campus, led by Director Joniel L. Calibo, spearheaded a mangrove planting activity on March 21, 2025, in Balabawan, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Provincial Anti-Drugs Abuse Council (PADAC) of Zamboanga del Sur and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pitogo, aiming to strengthen coastal protection through mangrove rehabilitation.

The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) celebrated National Women’s Month 2025 on March 14, 2025, at the Provincial Capitol Gym, with the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.” Employees and students from the Lakewood and Pagadian campuses united for this significant event, which was spearheaded by the Gender and Development (GAD) Office Director, Dr. Trinidad C. Abapo. The event was facilitated by Ms. Charmagne Merontos, Pagadian Campus GAD Focal Person, with the support of Ms. Cristy Udjaji, CMSE GAD Focal Person. Its goal was to highlight the crucial role of women in all sectors of society and their contributions to building a brighter and more inclusive future for the country.
