The President’s Cup Lawn Tennis officially commenced on August 16, 2025, at the Lawn Tennis Court of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus. JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales led the opening, calling on tennis enthusiasts to celebrate the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. The event was graced by Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Vice Governor, Hon. Roseller L. Ariosa, who also joined the match.

The game brought together tennis players from San Miguel Tennis Club, Pagadian, and Guipos Lawn Tennis Club, alongside employee-players representing JHCSC campuses. Each participant showcased skill and determination, proving that the event was not only a competition but also a celebration of passion for the sport.

Vice Governor Ariosa displayed his athletic prowess, skillfully controlling the ball with precision in every rally. President Rosales also displayed remarkable competitiveness, eventually leading his team to victory with a hard-fought 7–5 score. Their performance ignited excitement among the spectators, highlighting the high level of play throughout the matches.

The friendly commercial game concluded with cheers, laughter, and renewed enthusiasm among players and guests. More than just a contest, the event fostered camaraderie, strengthened community ties, and set the tone for future Presidents’ Cup tournaments at JHCSC.
