As part of the celebration of the 27th Commencement Exercises of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), the Pagadian City Extension Campus held its graduation ceremony on June 9, 2026, at the Mega Gymnasium, Provincial Government Complex, Dao, Pagadian City. Cerilles State College (JHCSC)–Pagadian Campus celebrated the achievements of its graduating class and paid tribute to the unwavering support of their families during the Batch 2026 Tribute to Parents and Recognition Rites held on June 8, 2026, at Chandler Suites, Pagadian City. Anchored in the theme “Per Aspera Ad Excellentiam: A Journey of Perseverance, Sacrifice, and the Pursuit of Greatness,” the event served as both a recognition of academic accomplishments and a heartfelt tribute to the parents and guardians who played a vital role in students’ educational journeys. A total of 119 Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) students of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) were formally pinned and recognized during the 3rd Pinning Ceremony held on June 5, 2026, at the Guipos Municipal Gymnasium, signifying their readiness to undertake their On-the-Job Training (OJT) in various field offices under the theme “Flourishing with Purpose, Leading with Impact,” reflecting their commitment to professional growth, environmental stewardship, and meaningful service to the community. Leading the event were Dr. Emelyn D. Tormes, Dean of the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Studies (SAFES), and Mr. Joe Michael J. In line with its commitment to producing career-ready graduates, the Guidance and Counseling Office of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus, under the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), successfully conducted the two-day Employment Coaching & Mock-Job Interview 2026 on May 14–15, 2026. Anchored on the theme, “Career Ready Graduates: Building Confidence for Real-world Opportunities,” the activity aimed to strengthen the employability skills, confidence, and professional readiness of graduating students as they prepare to transition from academic life to the workforce. The Commission on Audit conducted an Exit Conference for J.H. Cerilles State College to discuss audit observations, recommendations, and the status of implementation of prior years’ audit recommendations concerning the accounts and transactions of the institution for Calendar Year 2025. The conference was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, College President, and was facilitated by Mr. Wilfredo M. Barnido Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, together with Ms. Jesu Marie Reducto, Finance Director. The activity was held on May 11, 2026, at the JHCSC Pagadian City Annex in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, in compliance with COA Memorandum No. 2014-011 dated October 21, 2014.
