The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IX and the J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Synergy in Capacitating LGUs in Local Development and Urban Planning (SCALE UP) Program that would assist LGUs in the formulation of their Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP). It was held at Four Queens Hotel, Pagadian City on March 10, 2021.
Present in the activity were Regional Director Paisal Abutazil, CESO III together with DILG ZDS Provincial Director Moh. Taha S. Arakama, DILG ZS Provincial Director Mario Baterna, JHCSC President Dr. Mary Jocelyn V. Battung, VP for Research and Extension Dr. Vilma Grengia, Planning and Development Director Dr. Jerry B. Superales, Community Extension Director Mr. Ricky C. Egos and the University of the Philippines Diliman – School of Urban and Regional Planning (UPD-SURP) trained JHCSC Comprehensive Development Planning (CDP) Technical Working Group (TWG) led by Engr. Rodrigo P. Millares Jr., EnP with Mr. Cleofe A. Baterna, Mr. Kim C. Borja, Mr. Aron Louie L. Paler and Mr. Homer T. Lao.
