LOOK || Financial Assistance Distributed to Displaced Student Beneficiaries of JHCSC

In a heart-warming event held at the College Gymnasium of JHCSC Main Campus, displaced student beneficiaries of the closed JHCSC External Studies Campuses were recipients of much-needed financial assistance. The initiative, spearheaded by Hon. Victor J. Yu, Governor of Zamboanga del Sur with 1st District Representative, Hon. Divina Grace C. Yu, and 2nd District Representative Hon. Jeyzel Victoria C. Yu, marked Batch 2 of releasing aid addressing lodging and transportation needs. The batch 1 release was at Dumingag Campus on February 14, 2024.

Year-End Agency Performance Review Marks Milestones for JHCSC in FY 2023

The JHCSC conducted its Year-End Agency Performance Review for the fiscal year 2023, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to excellence and accountability. Held at the main campus in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, the meeting served as a comprehensive assessment and strategic planning platform to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations across its campuses. Chaired by Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, President of JHCSC, and brought together key officials and administrators from various departments of JHCSC and representatives from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), headed by Gaesha Hazel D. Wee, Acting Supervising Budget and Management Specialist.

The pursuit of academic excellence took place at the Pagadian Annex Campus’s Conference Room on the third floor of the IT Building as faculty members and heads of academic departments gathered for the Syllabi Review and Enhancement Workshop organized by Dr. Vilma C. In compliance with National Budget Memorandum (NBM) No. 149, also known as the National Budget Call for FY 2025, President Edgardo H. Rosales, ED. D. spearheaded the presentation of JHCSC’s proposed programs and projects (PAPs) during the RDC IX Joint Advisory Committee (AdCom) and Executive Committee (ExCom) Review of Priority PAPs for FY 2025 Budget on February 6, 2024, at the Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.

JHCSC 1st Quarter Academic Council Meeting

The 1st Quarter Academic Council Meeting took place in the JHCSC Pagadian Annex Campus’s Conference Room on the third floor of the I.T. Building and gathered distinguished participants from the academic leaders. Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, presided over the session. The main goals of the meeting were to endorse important proposals and recommendations to the board for further consideration and approval, in line with JHCSC’s mission of delivering quality education under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales.

Enhancing Disaster Preparedness: Highlights from JHCSC-DRRMO First Quarter Meeting

The JHCSC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) held its first quarter meeting at the Canuto Ms Enerio Campus on January 30, 2024. The meeting saw the participation of 13 esteemed individuals, all committed to advancing the DRRMO’s mission, including DRRMO Director Jerry R. Redoblado, DRRMO Staff and Responders, and Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO) and Presidential Management Officer (PMO) Bemia Snooky Beboso.

CONGRATULATIONS || JHCSC Extension Office Celebrating Achievement: TESDA Graduation

The JHCSC TESDA Graduation ceremony celebrated the dedication and achievement of 109 graduates who completed the Agricultural Crops Production NC I program under the Coconut Farmer’s Scholarship Program. Held at the JHCSC-Main Campus in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, the event was a collaboration between the Community Extension Services Office, TESDA, and the Philippine Coconut Authority.
