The Supreme Students Council of the JHCSC School of Law, in partnership with Rex Book Store, organized a Book Fair and Law School 101 Seminar on August 16, 2025, at the Pagadian City Extension Campus. The activity was tailored for first-year law students, providing essential strategies and insights to guide them in their academic journey.
The seminar featured discussions on time management for working law students, the Socratic method, case digest preparation, and issue spottingโtopics designed to equip participants with practical skills necessary for succeeding in law school. Speakers included Shayne Go, RND, JD, Brandon Villaflor, JD, and Prince Kevin Bacamante, JD, who shared their knowledge and experiences with the students.
The event was also graced by professors Atty. Ameliano Himang, Atty. Glory Grace Nodado, and Atty. Joana Marie M. Bacang, along with the Dean of the School of Law, Atty. Romylyn O. Regidor. Their presence underscored the strong faculty support for student-centered initiatives. Support was also extended by Dr. Vilma Bahian, Campus Director, and Dr. Julito Mandac, Dean of the School of Business and Management.
The Book Fair and Law School 101 Seminar stood as a meaningful initiative that not only enriched the academic foundation of freshmen but also strengthened the sense of guidance and encouragement within the law student community.
