The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program of the School of Computing Studies at JHCSC Pagadian Campus, under the leadership of Dean Elsie Ybañez, has officially received its Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The JHCSC Pagadian City Extension Campus, under the leadership of Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, officially welcomed new and returning students for the academic year 2025–2026 through “Panukad 2025” on August 6, 2025, at the campus grounds. The program also marked the launch of Buwan ng Wika with the theme, “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.” In line with the celebration, students, employees, faculty members, and staff wore traditional Filipiniana dresses and Barong Tagalog, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the occasion. The opening ceremony also featured the introduction of candidates for the Supreme Student Council (SSC) Elections, as well as key college officials, faculty members, and employees of the campus.

The JHCSC Pagadian City Extension Campus held its 2nd Bonding Eskwela 2025 on August 4, bringing together new and returning students, along with the Supreme Student Council and ROTC officers, for a day of campus cleanup and maintenance. This event continues the tradition of community involvement initiated by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales. Modeled after DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela, the activity promotes teamwork and responsibility as students prepared the school for the upcoming academic year.

Spearheaded by Prof. Venus Avenido, Dean of Student Affairs, the activity focused on the final review of the SASS Manual and the formulation of strategies to enhance student-centered programs, with the guidance of JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H.
