The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Performance Management Team (PMT) conducted a meeting at the Pagadian Campus Hostel on April 3, 2025. The meeting focused on the Office, Division, Individual Performance Commitment and Review, and other key operational matters. The meeting was led by Planning and Development Office Director Dr. Cleofe Baterna Jr., under the leadership of Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Wilfredo Barnido Jr., with the support of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales.

Rosales attended the inauguration of the ZPPSU Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Building on April 2, 2025.

President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales officially received the hard copies of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) programs of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus on March 31, 2025, granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region IX.

Cerilles State College (JHCSC) took part in the Ceremonial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing of the Agriculture & Fisheries Resources, Research and Extension for Development Network (AFRREDN), spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office IX (DA RFO 9). The event was held on March 28, 2025, at Hotel Guillermo, Pagadian City.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Office of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), led by Director Vicpher D. Garnada, successfully facilitated the exit conference and closing program via Zoom on March 28, 2025. This event marked the conclusion of the three-day Phase 2 of the 3rd Survey for Level III online accreditation of three academic programs: the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) at the Main Campus and both the BEEd and the Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) at the Dumingag Campus. The accreditation was conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) from March 26 to 28, 2025.

The Commissioner of Higher Education (CHED), Dr. Desiderio R. Apag, III, was warmly welcomed by the JHCSC community and key officials under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales. Accompanied by Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, CHED ROIX Regional Director, and Dr. Joseph Lou C. Sta. Teresa, OIC-Chief Education Program Specialist, Dr. Apag visited JHCSC on March 27, 2025, to strengthen collaboration and advance shared goals for academic excellence and institutional growth.

Rosales, hosted a special Commissioner’s Night at the JHCSC Hostel, marking a significant occasion with the attendance of key figures from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on March 27, 2025. The event was organized for featured distinguished guests such as CHED Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III D.Eng, PCpE, and Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, CESE, the Regional Director of CHED Regional Office IX (CHED-ROIX).

J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) facilitated by JHCSC BSSW Program Chair, Khenny B. Colocar, RSW, MSW participated in a Social Work Month celebration at the Balangasan Covered Court on March 26, 2025. The event, organized in partnership with the Inter-School Junior Social Work Association of the Philippines (JSWAP) and the National Association of Social Workers Inc. (NASWEI) Zamboanga Peninsula-Ozamis-Maranding (ZPOM) Chapter, was hosted by Western Mindanao State University (WMSU). Themed “Ennobling Solidarity and Transforming Social Work Students through Linkages and Social Synergy in Community,” the event, named Social Work B.E.S.T Day, highlighted the values of Bolder, Excellence, Service, and Transform. The celebration was facilitated by WMSU JSWAP Adviser Mr. Mark Kevin C. Nugas, under the leadership of WMSU Social Work Program Coordinator, Darlene Daryl S. Nayo, RSW, MSW, RES, with the support of WMSU Pagadian Campus Administrator, Dr. Mary Jocelyn V. Battung.

J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) commenced its online accreditation process under the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) today, March 26, 2025. The accreditation, scheduled from March 26 to 28, 2025, evaluates programs under the 3rd survey phase.
