As part of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, JHCSC participated in a nationwide tree-growing initiative on September 20, 2024, in Barangay Tawagan Sur, Pagadian City. With the theme “Malasakit sa Kalikasan, Malasakit sa Lingkod Bayani,” this initiative aims to positively impact the environment and promote a greener future for the next generations.
The Civil Service Commission, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, will spearhead this tree-growing initiative to plant at least 10,000 trees. Additionally, the initiative seeks to raise funds for the CSC’s Pamanang Lingkod Bayani (PLBi) Program, which supports the families of fallen civil servants. -RMOJ
