J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Pagadian City Campus conducted a Strategic Direction and Development Meeting titled Campus-Level Presentation of Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) for Feedback and Refinement Activity in July 2025. The session was initiated by Engr. Archel B. Bacus, Planning and Development Director (PDO), with For. Larnie L. Galiste, LUDIP Focal Person, facilitating the discussions. The activity was held with the support of the Pagadian Campus Director, Dr. Patricia D. Bahian.
J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), through its Student Affairs and Support Services (SASS) Team, successfully conducted a two-day Assessment and Planning Meeting on July 21–22, 2025, at the Pagadian City Extension Campus, Conference Room, 3rd Floor, SET Building. Spearheaded by Prof. Venus Avenido, Dean of Student Affairs, the activity focused on the final review of the SASS Manual and the formulation of strategies to enhance student-centered programs, with the guidance of JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales.
The Board of Trustees (BOT) Finance Committee of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) held its Second Quarter Regular Meeting on July 18, 2025, at the JHCSC Pagadian City Extension Campus Hostel. Committee Chairperson Dir. Maria Felicidad R. Guerrero, Regional Director of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) IX, led the meeting with Committee Vice Chairperson and JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales. The agenda focused on evaluating key institutional proposals’ status, progress, and expected outcomes for endorsement at the upcoming full BOT meeting.
Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) and J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 21, 2025, at the Office of the President, Pagadian City Extension Campus.
The JHCSC Academic and Administrative Council, led by Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and duly represented by Ms. Febe Keith P. Jumoc, Curriculum and Instruction Office and Mr. Wilfredo M. Barnido, Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, convened for its 2nd Quarter meeting on July 15, 2025, at the JHCSC Hostel, Pagadian City Extension Campus.
Ten delegates from J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) are currently attending the 5th Annual Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) Conference, which opened today, July 9, 2025, in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. With the theme “Breaking Barriers, Empowering Change,” the three-day international gathering brings together education leaders, innovators, and changemakers worldwide.
Representatives from JHCSC, headed by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, along with Dr. Jerry B. Superales, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation; Dr. Trinidad C. Abapo, Main Campus Director; Dr. Emelyn B. Tormes, SAFES Dean; and Prof. Charmagne Merontos, Gender and Development Focal, attended the 2025 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Midterm Convention and General Assembly held from July 9 to 11 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City.
