The J. H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) 5 – member faculty team actively participated in the 2 – Day Training of Trainers on the Formulation of Risk-Informed Comprehensive Development Plan Workshop of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 9 on January 27-28, 2021 held at Hotel Guillermo, Pagadian City.
JHCSC, as one of the Local Resource Institutes (LRIs) in the region, was partnered by the DILG to support Local Government Units (LGUs) in Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay in the preparation of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) which Local Government Units are mandated to prepare, as stipulated in R.A 7160 (Local Government Code of the Philippines).
The resource persons who conducted the workshop were the following: Ms. Febie L. Marquez, DMO III-SGLP, LGCDD; Ms. Jehanne Lorelie A. Rodrigo, MLGOO Dinas, ZDS; Ms. Diana Gay G. Batua, MLGOO, Malangas, ZSP; Febie L. Marquez, DMO III-SGLP, LGCDD; Mr. Alvin Lucero, OIC- Assistant Division Chief, LGCDD; and Ms. Anita R. Casipong, OIC-Division Chief, LGCDD.
The facilitators of the program are the personnel from DILG R-IX headed by RD Paisal O. Abutazil, CESO III who warmly welcomed the participants.
JHCSC faculty team was led by Engr. Rodrigo P. Millares Jr., EnP, along with Mr. Cleofe A. Baterna, Mr. Kim C. Borja, Mr. Aron Louie L. Paler and Mr. Homer T. Lao.
