The first batch of Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) students from the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Studies (SAFES) at J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) successfully defended their research proposals during an inaugural event. This milestone took place on December 1-2, 2014, at the JHCSC Main Campus Research Conference Room in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur. Over 100 students participated, grouped into teams of five, each presenting their proposed studies before a distinguished panel of experts.
