𝑱𝑯𝑪𝑺𝑪 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝑷𝒂𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒚 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒁𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑺𝒖𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒐𝒓

College officials of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), led by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, paid a courtesy visit to Zamboanga del Sur Governor Divina Grace C. Yu on August 11, 2025, at the Provincial Capitol to discuss strengthened collaboration between the institution and the provincial government.

The visit aimed to extend a formal invitation to Governor Yu for KAPEHAN, an upcoming institutional dialogue designed to foster partnerships between the academe and the community. The event will present programs and research-based projects intended to generate income, create livelihood opportunities, and drive local development.

Key topics discussed included prospective scholarship grants for JHCSC students and the promotion of a newly developed mobile application comparable to commercial food delivery platforms. Unlike existing services, the app will feature agriculture-based offerings and dishes made from locally produced ZamPen Chicken, to stimulate innovation and employment.

Governor Yu also shared her ongoing and planned projects for JHCSC, which could significantly contribute to the institution’s aspirations for university status. The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to advancing education, innovation, and socio-economic growth in Zamboanga del Sur.
