A M.E.A.S.U.R.E.S. executive meeting was held on June 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the JHCSC Conference Room, Pagadian Extension Campus. The gathering brought together key college officials, including Vice Presidents, Campus Directors, Deans, and administrative heads, with President Edgardo H. Rosales, JD, EdD, leading the discussion.
The School of Business and Management (SBM) hosted a heartfelt “Tribute to Parents & Faculty and Graduation Ball” at Hotel Alindahaw in Pagadian City on June 4, 2025. The event, themed “Roots and Wings: Honoring the Hands That Build the Future,” celebrated the foundational support of families and the empowering guidance of educators. Spearheaded by SBM Dean Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., with the support of Pagadian Campus Director Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, the gathering underscored the collaborative effort between families and educators in shaping students’ academic and personal growth.

Cerilles State College (JHCSC), Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCT), and Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST).
J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) formalized its commitment to academic and research collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with key partner institutions during the 1st Environmental Science Research Congress hosted by Mindanao State University (MSU) Buug Campus on June 16–18, 2025. The event carried the theme “Revolutionizing Our Response to Climate Change: Cutting-Edge Research and Technologies Paving the Way for a Low-Carbon Future!” and was led by Dr. Bryan Bitantos, MSU Buug’s Research Director and Dean of the College of Forestry and Environmental Studies, with full support from Chancellor Dr. Sheila Magolama.
As part of the celebration of the 26th Commencement Exercises of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), the Pagadian City Extension Campus held its graduation ceremony on June 17, 2025, at the Mega Gymnasium, Provincial Government Complex, Dao, Pagadian City. With the theme “Igniting Innovation and Inspiring Sustainable Growth towards 25 Years of Academic Excellence,” the ceremony honored the hard work and dedication of 410 graduates who successfully completed their academic journey.
The JHCSC Canuto MS Enerio (CMSE) Campus marked a significant academic milestone as it held its Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2025 on June 18, 2025, at the Municipal Gymnasium in Poblacion, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur. The ceremony was attended by members of the JHCSC Board of Trustees, college officials, deans, program chairs, faculty, staff, graduates, and proud parents.
The JHCSC Dumingag Campus proudly held its 2025 Commencement Exercises for the graduating class, Batch Hiraya, on June 17, 2025, at the Municipal Gymnasium, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. With the theme “Igniting Innovation and Inspiring Sustainable Growth Towards 25 Years of Academic Excellence,” the event gathered JHCSC officials, deans, faculty, staff, graduates, parents, and esteemed guests, including the representative of Hon. Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” T. Go—First District City Councilor Hon. Dr. Ariel Jeanjaquet Lim.

The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) Program, led by Dr. Rosanilio M. Yagos, BSES Program Chair, with the support of SAFES Dean Dr. Jerry B. Superales, conducted its 2nd Pinning Ceremony for Batch Simpan on June 11, 2025, at the JHCSC Main Campus Gymnasium in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur. Themed “Igniting Change: Turning Environmental Science Into Action,” the event gathered faculty, staff, and 3rd-year students from BSES 3 – Air and BSES 3 – Water alongside their proud parents.
The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus Gymnasium shimmered with elegance and celebration on June 10, 2025, as the graduating students of Batch Hiraya gathered for their Seniors’ Ball. Bearing the theme “Into the Vision, Beyond the Stars,” the event marked a milestone in the students’ academic journey. The ball was spearheaded by Batch President Mr. Jumil Ceballos, under the leadership of Dr. Jonno E. Tan, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs Services (OSAS), and with the support of Main Campus Director Dr. Trinidad C. Abapo.
