J.H. Cerilles State College took a significant step towards achieving international quality assurance standards with the ISO 9001:2015 Familiarization Course at the I.T. Building Conference Room, JHCSC Pagadian Annex, March 6-7, 2024. The Quality Assurance Office organized this two-day Training under the leadership of QA Director Vicpher D. Garnada, MSIT.

Hadjirul, organized an impactful HIV and AIDS awareness event themed “Let Communities Lead,” which made the Main Campus Gymnasium at JHCSC a hub of knowledge and empowerment as JHCSC Main Campus student leaders gathered today, March 5, 2024.
The JH Cerilles State College is leading the way in celebrating National Women’s Month with the theme “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan Patutunayan!” (A Fair Society in the New Philippines: Proving Women’s Capabilities), in an effort to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions made by women throughout history.
The second day of the Echo Seminar on “Regional Futures Consortium Workshop: High-Level Anticipatory Leadership and Governance Executive Course” yesterday, February 28, 2024, at the New Roxan Hotel, gathering JHCSC executives, administrators, department heads, and academic leaders, organized by the Future Thinking Committee, aimed to cultivate anticipatory leadership and governance skills among participants.
In a heart-warming event held at the College Gymnasium of JHCSC Main Campus, displaced student beneficiaries of the closed JHCSC External Studies Campuses were recipients of much-needed financial assistance. The initiative, spearheaded by Hon. Victor J. Yu, Governor of Zamboanga del Sur with 1st District Representative, Hon. Divina Grace C. Yu, and 2nd District Representative Hon. Jeyzel Victoria C. Yu, marked Batch 2 of releasing aid addressing lodging and transportation needs. The batch 1 release was at Dumingag Campus on February 14, 2024.
The recent championship victory of the JHCSC Green Hornets in the first ever Asenso Athletics Intercollegiate Basketball Cup 2024 is a testament to perseverance and strategic leadership. Under the guidance of Coaching President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, the basketball team showcased an outstanding performance, culminating in reclaiming the coveted title after a four-year hiatus. Their decisive win over the reigning champions, the Southern Mindanao College (SMC) Panthers from Pagadian City, on January 20, 2024, marked the end of a determined journey to recapture the championship crown.
