The School of Teacher Education (STE) at JHCSC held its much-anticipated English Extravaganza 2024 on November 8 at the Main Campus Gymnasium, with the theme “The Language of Transformations: Stories that Unite Cultures.” The event was led by the Association of English Enthusiasts (ASSEN) President, Mr. John Paolo O. Elducal along with Mrs. Jezreel V. Verallo, MAEd, Adviser of ASSEN, and under the guidance of Mrs. Gejazhylle P. Engaño, MAEd, BSED Program Chair. The celebration received the full support of Dr. Starr Clyde L. Sebial, STE Dean, and conducted under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, alongside Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA). The event highlighted the role of English as a global lingua franca in bridging cultural divides and promoting international collaboration, communication, and cultural exchange.
