The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region IX has officially granted a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep) and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) programs of the J.H. Cerilles State College – Pagadian City Extension Campus. Issued on December 10, 2024, this affirms the programs’ adherence to CHED standards, marking a significant milestone for the School of Business and Management (SBM).

This achievement highlights the dedication and collaborative efforts of key individuals, including Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., Dean of the SBM, Mr. Ernesto B. Medina, Jr., BSEntrep Program Chair, Mr. Julie R. Cabalog, BSTM Program Chair, along with the faculty and staff. Their unwavering commitment to academic excellence has been instrumental in achieving this notable accomplishment.

With this recognition, all SBM programs now hold 100% COPC compliance. The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) was the first SBM program to secure COPC on November 22, 2021. With the support and guidance of Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, Pagadian Campus Director, Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and under the visionary leadership of JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, the institution continues to reach significant milestones, reaffirming its commitment to delivering quality education
