The 3rd Inter-Campus Consultation Meeting and Harmonization of Financial Transactions took place on January 8, 2025, at the J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Pagadian Campus, IT Building Conference Hall. The meeting, led by Mr. Wilfredo Barnido, Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, with the support of JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, aimed to address critical issues related to finance, transaction flow, supply management, and assess and prioritize solutions to these challenges.
Among the key college officials in attendance were Mr. Ricky A. Egos, Extension Director; Dr. Joel Sabellano, Finance Director; Mr. Ruel Lasagas, Resource Generation Director; Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., HRMO Director; Mrs. Bemia Snooky A. Beboso, Main Campus Director; and Dr. Patricia D. Bahian, Pagadian Campus Director. The meeting also saw active participation from members of the Administrative and Finance teams, as well as from the Research and Academic sectors, with Deans from the School of Business Management (SBM), School of Engineering and Technology (SET), and School of Nursing (SON) in attendance.
During the open forum, Deans raised various concerns relating to supplies, safety precautions for buildings, laboratory conditions, and facility management. Dr. Rosales and Mr. Barnido provided practical alternatives and solutions to address these challenges, prioritizing issues that require immediate attention for the continued growth and safety of the institution.
In his message, Dr. Rosales expressed enthusiasm for the yearβs fresh start and reiterated his commitment to supporting the initiativeβs goals and objectives, emphasizing their importance for the institutionβs progress. Mr. Barnido also voiced his optimism for the initiative’s success and underscored the importance of open communication and transparency in addressing financial issues. Dr. Bahian, in turn, expressed gratitude to Dr. Rosales and Mr. Barnido for their collaborative efforts to foster institutional improvement.
The meeting aimed to strengthen relationships and build a functional network across all JHCSC campuses, ensuring a strong start to the year. Discussions focused on reviewing last year’s performance, finalizing financial transaction flow, and streamlining processes for more efficient management and consolidation of activities.
