JHCSCians continue to display remarkable strength and determination on the second day of the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Sports and Socio-Cultural Friendship Games 2025, securing medals and top rankings in several significant events.

In athletics, JHCSC athletes stood out with a gold medal in the 110-meter high hurdles (men), a silver medal in the triple jump (men), and a bronze medal in the discus throw (men), reflecting JHCSCโ€™s excellence in track and field competitions.
In the swimming events, JHCSC placed 5th overall in both the 50-meter freestyle and 1,500-meter freestyle, while earning 4th overall in the 400-meter freestyle relay and womenโ€™s 400-meter freestyle categories โ€” a strong testament to their endurance and teamwork.

The taekwondo team showed their fighting spirit, bagging bronze medals in the Poomsae Team competition and the Finweight Men Category. Meanwhile, in arnis, JHCSC athletes ranked among the top contenders, with standout finishes including 4th overall in the Non-Traditional Womenโ€™s Espada y Daga, alongside consistent rankings in other traditional and non-traditional weapon categories.

As the competitions continue, the menโ€™s beach volleyball team has advanced to the semifinals, and the menโ€™s basketball team earned a spot in the quarterfinals, proving that the JHCSCians are strong contenders across multiple disciplines.

With their unwavering spirit and dedication, JHCSCians remain poised to bring more pride and honor to J.H. Cerilles State College as the MASTS 2025 Friendship Games progress.
