J.H. Cerilles State College President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, along with the prominent education stakeholders and leaders from various State Colleges and Universities (SUCs), attended the Welcome, Turnover, and Acceptance Ceremony for the Outgoing and Incoming Directors of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office IX on January 9, 2025, at Cordobiza Hall, Marcian Garden Hotel.

The event’s theme, β€œContinuity and Commitment in Higher Education Leadership,” highlighted the significance of seamless leadership transitions in advancing the region’s educational goals. Moreover, it marked the official appointment of Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo as the new OIC Regional Director of CHED-ROIX, succeeding Dr. Rody P. Garcia, whose tenure was recognized for his remarkable leadership and outstanding contributions to higher education.

By joining the ceremony, President Rosales expressed his support for the incoming director, who is scheduled to visit JHCSC on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He also extended his profound appreciation to the outgoing director, Dr. Garcia, for his invaluable service and lasting contributions and wished him success in his future endeavors.
