In an effort to advance transparency, efficiency, and sustainability in government procurement processes, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Regional Office IX conducted a two-day training workshop on Republic Act No. 12009, also known as the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA), at the J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Pagadian City Extension Campus Hostel on May 21–22, 2025. The activity was led by DBM Regional Director Mark Louie C. Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) cadets from various institutions participated in the Steel and Discipline firing activity at the RMFB9 Regional Center, Police Regional Office 9, Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City. The event, conducted on May 18, 2025, was facilitated by TSg Joseph D. De Guzman, Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, alongside LT Elmer A. Desio of the Philippine Air Force.
