Executive leaders of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) convened at the Pagadian City Extension Campus Hostel on May 19, 2025, to present the Strategic Priorities of their respective offices’ Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR), which will be rated based on the attainment of their targets in accordance with the indicated performance measures for the period.
In attendance were President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales; the morning presenters—Dr. Cleofe A. Baterna, Jr., Director of the Planning and Development Office, and Mr. Kim Borja of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO); and the afternoon presenters—Vice Presidents Dr. Vilma C. Grengia for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jerry B. Superales for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation, and Mr. Wilfredo M. Barnido, Jr., for Administration and Finance. Key attendees, HRMO Director Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., and Finance Director Dr. Joel M. Sabellano, were also present.
As one of the approving authorities for the OPCRs, President Rosales took part in the proceedings, offering insights and suggestions where necessary and ensuring that each presentation aligned with the institution’s vision, mission, and values.
The forum was a collaborative discussion that allowed all attendees to provide feedback, raise concerns, and offer recommendations for the further refinement of each office’s strategic priorities. The collective effort reinforces institutional alignment and accountability while significantly contributing to the College’s pursuit of institutional milestones such as Accreditation, SUC Leveling, ISO Certification, and Universityhood.
Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
