The Records and Archives Office (RAO), headed by Records Officer II Mrs. Mae Desiree L. Luste, conducted a series of document checking activities across the JHCSC campuses as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen proper records management. The activity was conducted on October 9 at the Lakewood Campus, October 22 at the Pagadian Campus, November 3–5 at the Main Campus, and on November 13, 2025, at the Dumingag Campus, in support of the institution’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Mrs. Luste, together with the RAO Team composed of Ms. Shabeeba C. Carbonilla, Ms. Shara Joy R. Guira, and Ms. Stephanie Grace S. Alcomendras, reviewed documents from various campus offices to ensure that records were properly organized and maintained in accordance with archiving standards. The team also checked compliance with existing records policies and noted areas that require improvement.

The activity aims to reinforce consistent and systematic record-handling practices across all campuses. It highlights the importance of protecting official documents and ensuring their accuracy, accessibility, and long-term preservation—key factors that contribute to smoother administrative processes and informed decision-making.

The RAO Team’s Basic Records Management Training Across JHCSC Campuses, conducted on May 6 to 9, 2025, also supported the effectiveness of the recent evaluations. The training equipped record custodians with essential competencies in managing and preserving institutional documents, enabling them to apply these skills during the campus-wide document checking activities.
