The pursuit of academic excellence took place at the Pagadian Annex Campus’s Conference Room on the third floor of the IT Building as faculty members and heads of academic departments gathered for the Syllabi Review and Enhancement Workshop organized by Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, today, February 7, 2024.
In compliance with National Budget Memorandum (NBM) No. 149, also known as the National Budget Call for FY 2025, President Edgardo H. Rosales, ED. D. spearheaded the presentation of JHCSC’s proposed programs and projects (PAPs) during the RDC IX Joint Advisory Committee (AdCom) and Executive Committee (ExCom) Review of Priority PAPs for FY 2025 Budget on February 6, 2024, at the Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.
The 1st Quarter Academic Council Meeting took place in the JHCSC Pagadian Annex Campus’s Conference Room on the third floor of the I.T. Building and gathered distinguished participants from the academic leaders. Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, presided over the session. The main goals of the meeting were to endorse important proposals and recommendations to the board for further consideration and approval, in line with JHCSC’s mission of delivering quality education under the leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales.
The JHCSC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) held its first quarter meeting at the Canuto Ms Enerio Campus on January 30, 2024. The meeting saw the participation of 13 esteemed individuals, all committed to advancing the DRRMO’s mission, including DRRMO Director Jerry R. Redoblado, DRRMO Staff and Responders, and Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO) and Presidential Management Officer (PMO) Bemia Snooky Beboso.
The JHCSC TESDA Graduation ceremony celebrated the dedication and achievement of 109 graduates who completed the Agricultural Crops Production NC I program under the Coconut Farmer’s Scholarship Program. Held at the JHCSC-Main Campus in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, the event was a collaboration between the Community Extension Services Office, TESDA, and the Philippine Coconut Authority.

The JHCSC Green Hornets emerged victorious in the 41st Phenawagnawag Festival Inter-Collegiate Basketball Tournament Game 2, held at the Vicenzo Sagun Municipal Gymnasium on February 3, 2024. They secured a thrilling win over the JRMSU-Dipolog team with a resounding score of 96-69.

Cerilles State College has emerged as the exclusive State University and College (SUC) in Region IX to submit Budget Execution Documents (BED) on schedule, showcasing the institution’s steadfast commitment to financial efficiency and transparency.
