The Planning and Development Office of JHCSC, led by Dr. Cleofe D. Baterna Jr., convened for a meeting today, December 6, 2024, to discuss the institution’s Strategic Plan for 2025–2030. Held in the Conference Room, 3rd Floor, I.T. Building, Pagadian Extension Campus, the meeting was conducted under the visionary leadership of President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales. Among the attendees were Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Wilfredo Barnido Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, along with other Heads of Offices who actively participated in the discussions.

The meeting addressed key issues and concerns related to JHCSC’s ongoing efforts toward achieving university status. The draft strategic plan was thoroughly reviewed to ensure its alignment with institutional goals and priorities. Efforts were made to harmonize the plan, emphasizing its relevance and adaptability to the institution’s aspirations for growth and excellence.

The refined strategic plan is set to be presented at the upcoming Board of Trustees meeting, marking a crucial step toward its approval and implementation. This effort highlights JHCSC’s goal of becoming a leading tertiary institution committed to providing high-quality education and meeting the evolving needs of its students and stakeholders.
