𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑨𝑭𝑷-𝑾𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑫𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝑱.𝑯. 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔

In commemoration of the 89th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), a simultaneous AFP-wide blood donation activity titled “Dugong Alay Mo, Sandigan ng Buhay Ko” was successfully conducted at the J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus Gymnasium on December 8, 2024. The event was spearheaded by Major General Romulo A. Manuel, PA Reserved Command, PA, with the support of San Miguel Mayor Hon. Ex D. Ocapan.

The blood-letting drive brought together personnel from the 901st (ZDS) RRIBn under the 901st (ZDS) CDC, 9RCDG, RESCOM, PA, alongside ROTC students from various schools, including Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Government College (ZDSPGC) Dimataling, JHCSC, and Pagadian Capitol College (PCC). Medical volunteers from Margosatubig Regional Hospital (MRH) and the San Miguel Rural Health Unit (RHU) also joined the initiative, contributing to the smooth facilitation of the event.

The blood donation activity served not only as a celebration of the AFP’s anniversary but also as a valuable contribution to the campus and surrounding community, helping save lives and strengthening the spirit of cooperation. With the support of Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, JHCSC President, in the initiative and the campus community, the event further underscored the importance of community involvement and humanitarian efforts in building a healthier and more unified society.
