𝐉𝐇𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) of J.H. Cerilles State College convened an in-person consultative meeting on July 27, 2026, at the Conference Room, 3rd Floor of the IT Building, JHCSC Pagadian Campus, to strengthen preparations for the opening of the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027. Led by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, the meeting brought together college deans, campus academic coordinators, directors, and other key academic personnel. It served as a venue for addressing academic and administrative concerns and ensuring the coordinated implementation of institutional policies, plans, and activities across the College’s campuses.

Key discussions focused on the status of enrollment, class schedules, and faculty load assignments. The participants also reviewed the major provisions and highlights of the Faculty Manual, the Registrar’s Manual, and the Student Manual to promote consistency in the implementation of academic policies, procedures, and student-related services.

The meeting further covered updates on program accreditation, institutional assessment findings and feedback, JC03-related matters, and faculty evaluation. An open forum allowed the participants to clarify concerns, exchange recommendations, and identify measures necessary for an organized and efficient opening of classes. Through the consultation, the OVPAA reinforced inter-office coordination and institutional readiness for the new academic year.
