𝐉𝐇𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐰𝐨-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩

J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), through its Quality Assurance Office headed by Ms. Joie Mercybelle F. Capitanea, conducted a two-day Institutional Accreditation Orientation and Workshop on August 13–14, 2026, to strengthen the College’s readiness for Institutional Accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

Among the distinguished attendees were JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales and AACCUP Executive Director Dr. Milabel E. Ho, together with heads of offices, key officials, academic and administrative leaders, and designated members of the Institutional Accreditation Task Force. Their participation underscored the institution-wide importance of the accreditation process and the need for coordinated preparation across all offices and academic units.

During the orientation, participants were guided through key accreditation areas, including institutional self-assessment, the preparation and organization of supporting evidence and documentation, and the respective roles of offices and academic units throughout the accreditation process.

The workshop also provided participants with an opportunity to discuss accreditation-related concerns and gain practical insights to guide the preparation of their respective offices and assigned areas. Emphasis was placed on maintaining complete, consistent, and reliable documentation of institutional practices, programs, services, and accomplishments.

As Institutional Accreditation evaluates the institution as a whole, the activity underscored the importance of coordination and collaboration among academic and administrative units. Participants were encouraged to align their respective preparations and responsibilities with the institutional requirements prescribed by AACCUP.

The conduct of the orientation and workshop forms part of JHCSC’s continuing quality assurance initiatives aimed at reviewing institutional practices, identifying areas for improvement, strengthening existing systems, and ensuring that its programs and services remain responsive to established quality standards.

Through the collective involvement of its officials, office heads, academic and administrative personnel, and members of the Institutional Accreditation Task Force, JHCSC continues to advance its preparations for Institutional Accreditation while strengthening a culture of collaboration, accountability, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
