The Maceda Grounds transformed into a vibrant stage of music, movement, and celebration as the JHCSC community witnessed the Power Dance and Musical Arts Competition on August 24, 2026, as part of the PHELEMET 2026 festivities. With energetic routines, powerful performances, and creative presentations, the evening drew cheers from the crowd and showcased the remarkable talents of participating delegations from across the institution.
Anchored on the theme, “PADAYON JHCSC @ 25: Pride, Achievement, Diversity, Advancement and Youth Oneness Into New Frontiers,” the competition highlighted more than artistic ability. Every performance reflected hours of preparation, discipline, teamwork, and passion, as participants brought their own stories, styles, and creative expressions to the stage. From synchronized dance sequences to captivating musical numbers, the event created an atmosphere filled with excitement, school spirit, and appreciation for the diverse talents within the JHCSC community.
More than a night of competition, the Power Dance and Musical Arts Competition became a celebration of unity, creativity, and shared pride among JHCSCians. As the College marks 25 years of service, growth, and achievement, the evening served as another reminder that the spirit of PADAYON lives not only in institutional milestones but also in the talents, friendships, and experiences that bring the community together. Through music, movement, and artistry, JHCSC continues to move forward as one toward greater possibilities and new frontiers.
Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
