J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) continues to affirm its growing research excellence after emerging as the 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐗 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 in the latest Global Health Focus (GHF) University Excellence update released on August 28, 2026.

Based on the 2026 ranking, JHCSC recorded 15 Scopus-indexed research outputs, placing it ahead of other State Colleges in Region IX, including Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology with 14 outputs and Basilan State College with 10. At the national level, JHCSC ranks among the country’s leading State Colleges in research productivity, reflecting the institution’s steady rise in scholarly publications and academic visibility.
