𝐉𝐇𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐊𝐀𝐃 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) welcomed its first-year and transferee students through the PANUKAD Program 2026 on August 5, 2026, marking the beginning of their academic journey and providing them with a meaningful introduction to the institution, its services, and student life.

The campus-wide activity was organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), led by Venus M. Avenida, MAEd, RGC, Dean of Student Affairs and Services, together with the respective DSA in charge across the JHCSC campuses, with the support of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Vilma C. Grengia. The program was designed to help incoming students become acquainted with key officials, faculty, and staff, student support services, institutional policies, and the resources available to them throughout their stay at JHCSC.

JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales graced the activity and warmly welcomed the newest members of the JHCSC community. In his message, he encouraged the students to embrace the opportunities that come with college life and to become active participants in the institution’s continuing pursuit of academic excellence and development.

President Rosales also shared JHCSC’s vision for universityhood, expressing his aspiration that first-year students entering the College today may eventually graduate from JHCSC as a university. He underscored that universityhood is not merely a promise, but a vision that the institution continues to pursue through sustained development, collective commitment, and the advancement of quality education.

The PANUKAD Program also featured institutional and cultural activities, including the launch of Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa and ASEAN Month, as well as orientations and initiatives to strengthen students’ familiarity with the institution and their sense of belonging within the JHCSC community. Through PANUKAD 2026, OSAS and DSA personnel across campuses provided new students with a welcoming foundation as they began their journey as JHCSCians.
