CHED Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, D.Eng, PCpE, served as the keynote speaker, delivering a rousing message to the graduates: “Graduation is not the finish line. It is a powerful launchpad. And your next mission is to ignite, inspire, and impact.” He further urged them, “Let your brilliance serve. Let your skills heal. Let your mind build. But above all, let your heart lead.” He emphasized that while graduation marks the completion of academic training, it is only the beginning of a greater calling that challenges graduates to use their knowledge with compassion, purpose, and leadership.

A heartfelt student address was delivered by Cum Laude Ms. Richell Alia Labastida, who shared her journey of balancing motherhood and academics. With unwavering courage, she declared, “I never surrendered,” emphasizing that her passion for education remained firm despite the challenges and never allowed her circumstances to compromise her dreams.

A milestone highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of diplomas and official Transcripts of Records (TORs) to all graduates—a first in JHCSC history. This forward-thinking move aims to help new alums pursue employment immediately after graduation.

The program concluded with the singing of the batch song and a final tribute performance. With pride, resilience, and a shared vision for the future, Batch Hiraya of the JHCSC Dumingag Campus now moves forward—ready to make a difference in the world.

Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!
