𝐉𝐇𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐈𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲

J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) and Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) formalized a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on International Partnership and Collaborative Research at the VNUF – Dong Nai Campus on March 5–6, 2026. The agreement strengthens international collaboration, scientific exchange, and joint research initiatives tackling global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, sustainable agriculture, and community development.

Representing VNUF during the ceremony was its President, Prof. Phạm Văn Điển, while the JHCSC delegation included Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Jerry B. Superales, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation; Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin; and Dr. Frederick P. Grengia, SAS Associate Dean. Joining virtually via Google Meet were JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales and Dr. Raymund A. Indangan, Director of the Internationalization and External Linkages Office.

The agreement aims to establish a mutually beneficial international partnership that will strengthen the research capacities of both institutions through collaborative research, academic mobility, and the exchange of scientific expertise, methodologies, and innovations. As a State University and College in the Philippines mandated to perform instruction, research, extension, and production, JHCSC continues to advance its internationalization initiatives in support of academic partnerships, faculty and student mobility, and global knowledge exchange.

Through the partnership, both institutions are expected to enhance institutional capacity, broaden international academic networks, and increase research productivity through joint projects, publications, and collaborative initiatives. The agreement also opens opportunities for shared trainings, conferences, and scientific engagements that contribute to the development of globally competent graduates and impactful research in environmental and sustainability fields.
