The University of Southeastern Philippines (USep), Davao City, hosted the Onsite Simultaneous Training of Accreditors for Preliminary, Levels I and Levels II Surveys, and the Conduct of 3rd and 4th Accreditation Survey Visits for Mindanao State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) from August 12 – 14, 2024. The said training aimed to equip a new set of accreditors with competencies and enhance the capabilities of the selected accreditors who have demonstrated the competencies required for conducting higher–level accreditation surveys.
Delegations representing J.H. Cerilles State College in the training were Dr. Starr Clyde L. Sebial – Dean of the School of Teacher Education, and Mr. Vicpher D. Garnada – Quality Assurance Director. The Region IX Team, which included members from JHCSC, Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU), Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST), and Mrs. Susan S. Martinez from the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) were selected to present their outputs during the plenary session.
Dr. Sebial highlighted the importance of teamwork during the event, stating, “Teamwork is the key.” Dr. Sebial also thanked the JHCSC Administration, especially President Edgardo H. Rosales, for the opportunity to participate in this important training. -PCDP.
