JHCSC-SET Celebrates Civil Engineering Graduating Class 2024 Academic Success with Ring Hop Ceremony

To hold significant importance for the academic journey culmination of the Graduating Students 2024 of the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) Program at J.H. Cerilles State College, the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), spearheaded by Dean Engr. Perla A. Rivera organized a Ring Hop Ceremony at Khians Spring Resort, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, on May 24, 2024.
This event serves as a rite of passage and signifies the BSCE Graduating Class academic journey and successful completion of years of hard work, dedication, and achievement. It gathered together BSCE-dedicated Faculty and the Ring Hoppers with their proud parents.
Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, President of JHCSC, and Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, facilitated the sashing of the graduates, which serves as symbols of their academic achievement.

President Rosales delivered an inspiring message and encouraged the graduates to use their skills and knowledge to make meaningful contributions to society and the civil engineering field.
The event’s highlight was the symbolic “ring hop,” where each graduate wore their class ring put by their parents, signifying their readiness to embark on their professional journey, and the Ring Hopper’s tribute to parents, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support.
The Ring Hop Ceremony celebrated the BSCE Class of 2024 Academic Success and highlighted the JHCSC’s commitment to fostering future leaders and innovators in engineering.
