The J.H. Cerilles State College hosted an Exit Conference conducted by the Commission on Audit (COA) Regional Office today, May 23, 2024, at the Pagadian Annex I.T. Building Conference Room, gathered the College’s Executives, Campus Administrators, and Directors.
The conference serves as a venue to discuss the Matrix of JHCSC Financial Audit Observations and Recommendations for the calendar year 2023 led by COA Region IX State Auditor (SA) IV Alvin Rey N. Buot, with the State Auditing Examiner (SAE) II. Regional Supervising Auditor Lourdes T. Lirio also contributed to the meeting via the Google Meet platform, providing insightful commentaries on the audit findings.
President Edgardo H. Rosales expressed a positive outlook on the audit results, viewing them as a constructive tool for JHCSC’s improvement. “We consider the COA as our partner in safeguarding government funds,” President Rosales stated, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
The Exit Conference marks a significant step in JHCSC’s continuous efforts to strengthen its financial management and operational efficiency, and the recommendations made by the COA provide a framework for future improvements.
