In a heartfelt ceremony held at the JHCSC Gymnasium on the Main Campus, President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, alongside VPAA Dr. Vilma C. Grengia and VPRERG Dr. Jerry B. Superales, led the recognition of the 33 passers of the September 2023 Social Work Licensure Examination (SWLE). These graduates achieved an outstanding institutional passing rate of 58.93%, surpassing the national passing rate of 56.75%.
During the Flag Raising Ceremony on October 9, 2023, certificates of recognition and gifts were presented to the passers and their proud parents. The event also acknowledged the dedication of the BS in Social Work (BSW) faculty, led by Program Chair Darlene Daryl Nayo of the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) under the Deanship of Dr. Frederick F. Grengia. Their steadfast commitment played a crucial role in preparing students to excel in the board exam.
In his message, President Rosales extended his congratulations to the passers and their parents, expressing pride in their accomplishments. He also commended the faculty for their role in achieving this milestone, encouraging them to continue their legacy for the institution and the community it serves.
