The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus Gymnasium shimmered with elegance and celebration on June 10, 2025, as the graduating students of Batch Hiraya gathered for their Seniorsโ€™ Ball. Bearing the theme โ€œInto the Vision, Beyond the Stars,โ€ the event marked a milestone in the studentsโ€™ academic journey. The ball was spearheaded by Batch President Mr. Jumil Ceballos, under the leadership of Dr. Jonno E. Tan, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs Services (OSAS), and with the support of Main Campus Director Dr. Trinidad C. Abapo.

The evening was honored by the presence of key personalities, including Hon. Cyrusdirk L. Elle, Supreme Student Federated Council President and Student Trustee, who joined students, faculty, and staff in the celebration. A festive atmosphere filled the venue as the program unfolded, blending formal tradition with vibrant youth spirit.

Among the eventโ€™s highlights were a nostalgic โ€œReels of Memoriesโ€ presentation, a lively live band performance, the cotillon dance by the seniors, and the much-anticipated Contest of Beauty and Charisma that culminated in the crowning of Mister and Miss Hiraya 2025. The panel of judges for the evening included Ms. Rudilyn C. Dayanan, RL, MLIS, the college librarian, and Mr. Wendel Ragusta Jr., School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) faculty member.

In her inspirational address, Dr. Abapo reminded students of the struggles they overcame, saying, โ€œGraduation is not for the weak. Tonightโ€™s celebration is a testament of your grit, patience, and perseverance.โ€ Meanwhile, Dr. Tan highlighted the significance of this milestone, calling graduation โ€œa proof of overcoming and adapting to growth,โ€ encouraging the graduates to embrace their evolving journey.

The Batch Hiraya Seniorsโ€™ Ball 2025 concluded on a heartfelt note as students took one last dance under the college lights. The event served not only as a night of recognition and joy but also as a celebration of resilience, unity, and the bright futures that lie ahead for the Class of 2025.
