On October 9, 2023, JH Cerilles State College (JHCSC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP). The signing ceremony took place at the IT Building, Conference Room, JHCSC Pagadian Annex in Pagadian City.
This MoA marks a significant partnership between JHCSC, led by President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, and the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor-Field Operations Divisions for Mindanao (PCUP-FODM), represented by Comm. Remedios S. Chan, Supervising Commissioner, PCUP-FODM, and Atty. Ferdinand C. Iman, Chief of Operation, PCUP-FODM.
The PCUP serves as a vital link between urban poor communities and the government, facilitating policy formulation and program implementation to address their needs. The commission also plays a crucial role in coordinating and monitoring the implementation of government policies and programs aimed at improving the lives of urban poor residents. This partnership signifies a commitment to the continuity and expansion of JHCSC’s TABANGE Extension Programs.
