JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales participated in the National Innovation Day 2025 held from April 28 to 30 at Novotel Manila, Araneta City, Quezon City. The event carried the theme โFLIP: Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippinesโ and was conducted in line with Section 27 of Republic Act No. 11293 or the Philippine Innovation Act, which promotes public awareness and support for innovation while recognizing key milestones of both government and private sector efforts.
Organized by the National Innovation Council (NIC) in close coordination with DOST, DTI, DepEd, CHED, and TESDA, the three-day gathering brought together over 1,500 โFilipinnovators,โ including mentors, speakers, development partners, startups, youth leaders, members of the academe, investors, entrepreneurs, representatives from industries, and officials from both national and local government agencies.
Following the event, on May 2, 2025, President Rosales met with Mr. Bryan K. Thomas, CEO of Syntegral Global Solutions (SGS), and Atty. Roel Castro from the Office of the Solicitor General. The discussion focused on strengthening public-private partnerships supporting JHCSCโs efforts to promote innovation and build meaningful collaborations for education and development.
