JHCSC Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) Preparation Intensified

In compliance with Republic Act No. 11396, also known as the “SUCs Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) Act”, J.H. Cerilles State College led by Pres. Dr. Mary Jocelyn Villejo-Battung, the Chair of the institution’s Planning Committee conducted a benchmarking activity at the Central Mindanao University (CMU) last March 4-6, 2021.

JHCSC intends to learn from CMU’s compliance with Republic Act No. 11396 requiring all State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) to craft a campus land use plan for allocating, utilizing, developing, and managing land resources.
Dr. Jupiter V. Casas, CMU’s LUDIP lead proponent, elaborately discussed his team’s experience in the approval of CMU’s LUDIP with JHCSC’s Technical Working Group (TWG). Dr. Casas also committed to assisting JHCSC on its LUDIP preparation and same commitment was expressed by CMU President Dr. Jesus Antonio Derije.

Pres. Battung has institutionalized a team Chaired by Dr. Jerry B. Superales, the Planning and Development Director of JHCSC, together with the University of the Philippines Diliman – School of Urban and Regional Planning (UPD-SURP) trained 5- Faculty Member Comprehensive Development Planning (CDP) Team led by Engr. Rodrigo P. Millares Jr., EnP.

Aside from the LUDIP benchmarking, the College officials also benchmarked CMU’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) during the said visit.
