𝑱𝑯𝑪𝑺𝑪 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝟔𝒕𝒉 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝑫𝑬 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑽𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒏𝒂𝒎

J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC), Dumingag Campus Director, Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin participated in the 6th International Conference on Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Management Congress, held at Saigon Business School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from March 18-20, 2025. The conference gathered representatives from Local and International Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), government agencies, and private organizations that aim to bolster the RDE management capabilities of members and research organizations across the ASEAN Region.

At the conference, Dr. Tangalin presented his research, “Driving Sustainability and Innovation in Research Development and Extension Management: Focusing on Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Sector in J.H. Cerilles State College,” earning the Best RDE Management Paper Award. He thanked JHCSC President Rosales for supporting his travel to Vietnam and the MOA signing with Saigon Business School, which opens the door for future collaboration. “Thanks, Pres. Rosales, for the approval of our travel to Vietnam, MOA signing with SBS & JHCSC RDE Collaboration. God’s gift po ang BEST PAPER AWARD natin,” he humbly shared.

President Rosales praised Dr. Tangalin’s achievement, emphasizing the importance of sharing research findings on international platforms. “Research outputs should not be kept inside the shelves but should be shared with others via international presentation, publication, and utilization to change people’s lives for the better. This is a challenge to all JHCSC faculty,” he said. He also expressed optimism, stating, “More awards to receive in the future for our JHCSC researchers that will make our institution very proud in the international arena. We need to have more Dr. Glenn Tangalin in our future university.”

Dr. Tangalin’s recognition at the congress is a significant achievement for JHCSC, highlighting the institution’s dedication to research, sustainability, and international collaboration. This accomplishment sets an inspiring precedent for future success and reflects the growing impact of JHCSC in the global academic community.
