The School of Business and Management (SBM) celebrated its 2-Day SBM Day 2025 with the theme “Divergent Dominance: Pushing Boundaries, Refining Abilities, and Showcasing Strength in Sports and Skills” at the J.H. Cerilles State College Pagadian City Extension Campus – Hostel from February 28 to March 1. The event was led by SBM Dean Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., with the support of Pagadian City Campus Director Dr. Patricia D. Bahian.
Notable attendees included School of Teacher Education (STE) Dean Dr. Starr Clyde L. Sebial and ADEP Project Leader Mrs. Juvie B. Sebial. Faculty, staff, students, parents, event sponsors, and extension beneficiaries participated in the celebration. In his speech, Dr. Mandac emphasized the importance of trustworthiness, peace, selflessness, honesty, and bravery as key qualities that define the SBM community in their professional endeavors. He also expressed his excitement about the future plans for the SBM department.
The celebration featured a wide range of contests over two days. On Day 1, participants competed in the Literary Competition, hands-on skills categories, E-sports, Business Proposal, Product Innovation, and Sing and Dance competitions. Day 2 highlighted sports events and the Mr. and Ms. SBM 2025 pageant, where contestants showcased their wit, elegance, and personality, where the representative from BS Tourism was crowned as Mr. SBM 2025, and the representative from BS Entrepreneurship was crowned as Ms. SBM 2025.
