The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) hosted the official launch of National Arts Month 2025 on February 7, 2025, at the Main Campus Gymnasium. With the theme “Ani ng Sining, Diwa at Damdamin,” the event was spearheaded by Mr. Joseph B. Salimbangon, Culture and the Arts Director, and facilitated by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) Officers under the leadership of Mr. Earl Ryan D. Siso, SSC Governor. Main Campus Director, Mrs. Bemia Snooky A. Beboso, also supported the event.
Key participants included Hon. Cyrusdirk L. Elle, Supreme Student Federated Council President and Student Trustee, and Dr. Jonno E. Tan, Dean of Student Affairs. Special guest Mr. Ariel L. Andus, an international Filipino performer, shared his inspiring journey and encouraged young talents. Faculty, staff, and students from various departments participated in the celebration.
The event featured a dynamic program of music, dance, and other performances. The gymnasium was filled with energy as various departments showcased their talents, including a race to hoist department banners, adding to the excitement. The crowd then joined in a Mob dance, further uniting the community to celebrate National Arts Month 2025.
This launch marks the beginning of National Arts Month 2025 at JHCSC, highlighting the importance of cultural expression and creativity in building a vibrant community. It also served as an invitation to continue nurturing the talents and artistic spirits of students, faculty, and staff throughout the month.
