The JHCSC Management Information System and Technology Office (MISTO), headed by Director Ronald C. Luste, hosted a two-day MIS Software Orientation on Financial Automation and Resource Management System on January 9-10, 2025 at the JHCSC Hostel, Pagadian City Extension Campus. The event was led by Caraga State University (CARSU) representatives, including CARSU President Dr. Rolyn Daguil, along with the CARSU MIS (Management Information System) team: Mr. Dave Anthony Asis, MIS Director and Mr. Clark Justine Gonzales, ICT Director.

The orientation was attended by key college officials from JHCSC, including Mr. Wilfredo M. Barnido, Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Joel A. Sabellano, Jr., Finance Director, and the institution’s Heads of Offices. Campus directors from JHCSC’s various campuses were also present, including Mrs. Bemia Snooky Beboso (Main Campus), Mr. Bobby A. Piscos (CMSE Campus), Dr. Patricia D. Bahian (Pagadian Campus), and Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin (Dumingag Campus). In addition, representatives from several offices participated, including Procurement, ICU, Budget, Accounting, Cashier, PAMO, BAC, MISTO, Supply, and Records and Archives.

Mr. Asis provided a detailed presentation on the new Financial Automation and Resource Management System, tailored to the specific needs of different system users. The presentation outlined the system’s features and functionalities designed to streamline financial operations and enhance resource management at JHCSC. Following the presentation, an open forum was held, where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the software’s potential impact on their respective offices.

During the event, JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales expressed his gratitude to the CARSU team for sharing their innovative software, which was developed by CARSU President Dr. Daguil. This marked a significant milestone in JHCSC’s efforts to explore new solutions for financial automation and resource management, aiming to improve efficiency and transparency across the institution.
