The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) of J.H. Cerilles State College held their much-awaited IT Day and Year-End Party on December 14, 2024, at the Pagadian Extension Campus Lobby. The event, themed Spark IT: Red Hot Innovations – Igniting Passions and Creativity, was organized by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Students (PSITS) President, Mr. EL Noe Armada, with the guidance of their club adviser, Mr. Efraim A. Barcela, under the leadership of IT Program Chair, Elsie Ybañez, MSIT.

The event featured various exciting activities that engaged students and faculty members from morning until evening. Participants enjoyed several fun-filled competitions, including a Pop Dance Competition, a Christmas Caroling Competition, and a Lip Sync Battle. The lively contests brought out the best in creativity and performance, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the celebration. The day’s activities provided an excellent opportunity for everyone to bond and showcase their talents.

The IT Day and Year-End Party was a fun celebration and a reminder of the importance of passion and creativity in Information Technology. It allowed students and faculty to reflect on their accomplishments while looking forward to future innovations. Ultimately, the event blended entertainment with inspiration, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees and reinforcing the value of teamwork, creativity, and collaboration within the IT community.
