Cerilles State College (JHCSC) held a Fine Dining Experience and Modeling event at the JHCSC Hostel under the theme “Confidence is the Best Outfit; Wear it like You Own It,” on December 16, 2024. The event was spearheaded by BSTM Program Chair Julie R. Cabalog, MBA, and Mr. Dexter Carl J. Corpuz, BSTM instructor, with the guidance of School of Business Management (SBM) Dean Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr. The event aimed to showcase the students’ fine dining and modeling skills, emphasizing the importance of confidence in personal and professional settings.

In the event, the 4th-year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students acted as servers, providing exceptional service to the guests. Niez, Secretary of the Council of Tourism and Hospitality Educators of Zamboanga Peninsula. The BSTM first-year students and the SBM faculty members also served as taste testers, ensuring the quality of the dishes presented during the event. This collaborative effort highlighted the practical application of skills learned throughout their academic courses.

Dr. Julito V. Mandac Jr., SBM Dean, delivered a welcoming address, emphasizing the significance of personal development in students’ lives. He encouraged the students to continuously build their confidence, vital to their academic and professional growth.
