J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) unveiled its Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IPTBM) Marker on December 16, 2024, at Caridad, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, College President of JHCSC, led the unveiling ceremony and was joined by Director Noel A. Catibog of the DOST-PCAARRD TTPD. Along with them were JHCSC Dumingag Campus Director Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, JHCSC-IPTBM Project Leader Mr. Rickler R. Detalla, and Dr. Reynante E. Autida, Regional Program Leader for RAISE IX.

The newly unveiled marker highlighted the collaborative efforts of DOST, PCAARRD, and JHCSC in developing the IPTBM office at the Dumingag campus to support the full implementation of the Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program. Moreover, it also emphasized that this facility would facilitate intellectual property management and commercialization of technologies and knowledge products derived from research and development activities funded by the government.

With the unveiling of the JHCSC IPTBM Marker, the institution is set to play a key role in advancing innovation and technology commercialization in Zamboanga del Sur and beyond to contribute meaningfully to the broader goals of the RAISE Program.
