JH Cerilles State College (JHCSC) takes a significant step towards Internationalization as its School of Business and Management (SBM) Dean, Dr. Julito V. Mandac, Jr., participates in a 𝟏𝟎-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, sponsored by the Commission on Higher Education – Continuing Professional Development Studies Grant (CPDSG) recently held at the Universitas Bakrie in Jakarta from November 23 to December 3, 2024.

Dr. Mandac joined 50 other representatives from the various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines in this training in Indonesia, marking a significant milestone for JHCSC as it is the first faculty mobility program under the institution’s internationalization efforts.

According to Dr. Mandac, JHCSC was among the two SUCs from Mindanao that sent its representative to Indonesia’s training. On this vital avenue, the JHCSC’s SBM programs will be geared towards Halal Food processing for its products and processes, where students and faculty will be exposed to Halal food processing and eventual accreditation.

JHCSC actively pursues Internationalization through dynamic programs such as this, as it aligns with its vision of a progressive State University in the future under the leadership of the College President, Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, with Dr. Wendell Glenn Cagape, its Director for Internationalization and External Linkages, the JHCSC will continue to find opportunities for faculty and students to gain experiences in varied professional opportunities in the ASEAN region.

With Dr. Mandac’s successful participation in this Halal training, JHCSC continues to pave the way for international future collaborations and academic excellence, reflecting the institution’s commitment to nurturing globally competitive professionals.

Soar high, J.H. Cerilles State College!”
Stronger and Bolder JHCSC for Quality Tertiary Education”
