Following the exhilarating opening ceremony of the MASTS Friendship Games 2024, the Live Band competition took center stage on November 24, 2024, at the Blue Oval, Provincial Sports Complex in Dao, Pagadian City. At total of 18 bands from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) across Mindanao delivered captivating performances, each bringing their unique sound and style to the stage. The crowd was abuzz with excitement as the bands’ lively music and dynamic energy set the perfect tone for the night.

The competition showcased diverse musical talents, with each band adding their flair and creativity to the event. From high-energy rock anthems to soulful ballads, the performances highlighted the musical diversity among the SUCs in Mindanao. The audience responded enthusiastically, cheering for their favorite acts and creating an electric atmosphere celebrating talent and camaraderie.
